However, traditional switches cannot provide power supply. If both data products and terminal devices are connected and powered separately, it undoubtedly increases cable and labor costs, and maintenance work also increases accordingly.     1、 Different subjects
    1. POE switch: a switch that supports Power over Ethernet. POE switches can transmit power and data signals together to network devices, providing power supply for the devices.
    2. Non POE switch: It is a network device used for forwarding electrical (optical) signals, which requires a separate power adapter or power cable to provide power supply to terminal devices.

    2、 Different characteristics
    1. POE switch: A technology that can transmit data signals to some IP based terminals (such as IP phones, wireless LAN access points AP, network cameras, etc.) while providing DC power to such devices without any changes to the existing Ethernet Cat.5 cabling infrastructure.
    2. Non POE switch: It can provide an exclusive electrical signal path for any two network nodes accessing the switch. The communication ends need to transmit information, and the information to be transmitted is sent to the corresponding router that meets the required standards through devices or manual means. Non POE switches are often connected to devices such as computers, printers, gateways, and smart locks.

    3、 Different advantages
    1. POE switch: The latest standard specification that utilizes existing standard Ethernet transmission cables to simultaneously transmit data and electrical power, while maintaining compatibility with existing Ethernet systems and users. Simplify equipment installation and reduce wiring workload.
    2. Non POE switches: characterized by high cost-effectiveness, high flexibility, relative simplicity, and ease of implementation. Ethernet technology has become the most important LAN networking technology today.
